Steve Parr brings deep expertise and a candid approach to every client interaction. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded and sold a vacation rental company before establishing Parr Business Law in 2017, giving him unique insight into the entrepreneurial journey. Steve received his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2014 and also holds an BA in Gender Studies.
Steve acts for hundreds of privately held, owner and family managed companies, and in particular advises on corporate structure, all types of commercial agreements and corporate reorganizations involving succession, tax and estate planning.
Steve prepares wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, alter ego trusts, joint partner trusts, family trusts and other planning documents. He also advises executors, administrators, trustees and beneficiaries on estate and trust administration matters and assists with the probate process.
Steve is a Director of the BC Small Firm or Solo Practitioner Society, a Trust and Estate Practitioner Affiliate, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a Member of the Vancouver Bar Association and a Member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Accelerator.
