Megan Chambers focuses her practice as a litigator on contractual disputes and reviews, employment, and corporate matters. She has experience with hearings at various levels of court and administrative tribunals. She also heads Nicol Law’s Wills and Estates department, assisting with both the drafting of documentation and the administration of estates.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and attended the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2019 after completing her articles with a prestigious litigation boutique in Vancouver. She went on to become an associate with a leading regional insurance defense firm before starting her own firm in 2021 and eventually joining Nicol Law in 2022 and being called to the Alberta Bar in 2023.
Megan has assisted a variety of clients, including other small and sole practitioners, leaving her primed to assist on several different areas of law. Her passions include mental health and increasing access to justice through pro bono initiatives.
Megan is always looking forward to finding new volunteer opportunities and enjoys her hobbies which include knitting, crocheting, curling, and hanging out with her dog.
